Don't worry friends. It may feel like a trap... that you need to respond to what is going on in politics or what is on the news. I just want to encourage you today.
You really don't need to respond. There is no need to respond today or ever. You can just allow God who rules all to take care of business.
If you are a person of faith, there comes a time where you simply must stand. Stand strong and stand stoutly....and if you choose silence, then stand silently.
It is a beautiful thing to understand little glimpses of God's mercy and also His justice. Some folk overemphasize the mercy of God and forget about His justice.
Those who don't understand the justice of God, are those who are ignorant of the holy Scriptures.
There is no understanding of the beauty of God's mercy if you don't understand the beauty also of His justice.
I am trying to encourage my readers who may be exasperated by what they hear and see on the news both locally and on the international stage.
But I want to encourage you to remain or become a person of strong faith.
Know that God in heaven is greatly interested and involved in what is going on in our worlds today.
He does intervene when we pray. He waits only for us to ask and believe. Ask and believe.
Don't ask if you don't believe. Ask because you believe. And then, after having done the asking.....rest in His peace.
